Traditional chat apps matched users randomly or based on profiles alone, ignoring real-world proximity. People wanted to connect with nearby individuals for spontaneous meetups, local events, or community support, but lacked safe, location-aware platforms.
Authentication was often cumbersome, profiles static, and real-time interaction unreliable. No tools existed for admins to monitor safety or for users to share media seamlessly while chatting.
