Symptolog is a specialized medical reporting and appointment management application originally developed for a Spanish doctor to streamline patient care. Patients submit daily symptom reports with details on their condition, which the doctor reviews in real time to provide personalized advice, adjustments to treatment, and electronic prescriptions. The platform includes secure health record access, easy appointment scheduling, progress tracking, and comprehensive monitoring tools, ensuring better continuity of care and efficient doctor-patient communication. As my first paid project, Symptolog played a key role in shaping my development skills and project handling experience.

Patients often relied on phone calls, emails, or paper notes to report daily symptoms, leading to lost information, delayed doctor responses, inconsistent records, and inefficient appointment scheduling. Doctors struggled to monitor progress between visits without a centralized, secure system.
No dedicated tool existed for structured daily symptom logging, easy appointment booking, and real-time review, resulting in fragmented care, missed early warning signs, and increased administrative burden.

Symptolog empowers patients to log daily symptoms securely while giving doctors a clear, centralized view for timely advice and prescriptions, plus easy appointment scheduling and progress monitoring for continuous, personalized healthcare.
Secure, cross-platform health platform with encrypted data, real-time updates, cloud storage, and intuitive interfaces, designed for both patients and medical professionals.
Careful phased build with strong emphasis on privacy, usability testing with patients/doctors, and iterative feedback for a reliable medical tool.
