Munasbati is a Kuwait event marketplace for users, vendors and admins: a couple books multiple vendors in one checkout and pays a deposit, vendors manage listings, bookings and revenue behind KYC-verified profiles, and the whole thing runs bilingually on local payment rails with SMS OTP.
The client's vision was ambitious: one platform serving users, vendors, and administrators — where a couple could book a venue, catering, and entertainment in the same session, pay a deposit, and track everything from one dashboard. That meant solving multi-vendor checkout, deposit payments, vendor KYC, and a loyalty program simultaneously, in two languages, with Kuwait's payment rails.
Planning a wedding or event in Kuwait meant contacting venues on Instagram, negotiating catering over WhatsApp, visiting décor shops in person, and managing deposits through bank transfers — with no single place to compare, book, or track everything together. Miscommunications, hidden costs, and last-minute cancellations were the norm.
Vendors had no centralized tools to manage their listings, bookings, or revenue. No standardized trust mechanisms like KYC or verified reviews existed. And regional needs — Arabic RTL, local payment gateways, SMS OTP — were ignored by every generic solution on the market.
We started where every NLS build starts: scope before code. Working from the client's brief, we mapped the three products against one shared backend, then made the architecture decisions that kept a complex marketplace shippable:
