The client needed a marketplace where independent vendors could each manage their own storefront — products, pricing, promotions — without needing developer access. At the same time, customers needed to browse and buy across all vendors in one seamless shopping experience.
The admin needed full oversight: vendor approvals, listing control, order monitoring, and payout management — all from one panel. No existing template handled the combination of vendor autonomy and central control the client needed.
