Port — بورت — is a booking app for luxury yachts, jet skis and water activities in Kuwait. A customer browses the fleet by category or destination, opens a yacht to see external and internal photos, amenities and its location, picks a date and a morning or evening slot, adds services such as catering, and pays in the app. A concierge is a call, a WhatsApp message or an in-app chat away.
It was built for VGA, the Kuwaiti client behind Connect, Munasbati, Khadamat and Pro Trade on this site. The brief covered the customer app and an admin panel for operators to run the fleet, bookings, schedules, clients and maintenance. The app went live on Google Play and the App Store in March 2025.
Booking a yacht meant calling an operator, asking what was free, agreeing a time and a price by voice and paying on the day. Customers could not compare boats or see what was available, and operators kept the schedule in their heads or a notebook — so double bookings and no-shows cost them the slot.
An app only fixes that if availability is real. Time slots have to reflect what the operator has actually committed, the price has to include the duration and any add-ons, and payment has to happen at booking — otherwise the app is a brochure and the phone keeps ringing.
Every booking in Port is made against the operator's real schedule, priced with everything the customer chose, and paid before it is confirmed.
Yachts are grouped by category and destination, each with external and internal photos, amenities, capacity and location. Booking moves straight to a date picker with morning and evening slots.
Customers choose a date, a time slot and the total hours, so a booking is a defined block of the operator's calendar rather than a request someone has to interpret.
Onboard services such as catering and entertainment are added before checkout, so the total the customer pays is the total the operator expects.
Payment runs through UPayment, a Kuwaiti payment gateway, and the reservation is confirmed once it is paid.
Each yacht has a named concierge the customer can call, message on WhatsApp or chat with in the app, so questions stay attached to the booking.
