Pest control jobs booked, assigned and tracked — in one system instead of phone notes.

TSM is a service platform for a pest control company. Customers book a job — once or on a schedule — technicians see what they are assigned on a shared calendar, and the company keeps every booking, assignment and visit history in one admin panel instead of a paper diary.

Job volume, technician numbers and revenue are the client's to share, and they are not on this page. What is on this page is what was built and why it was built that way.

The Context

Building a job system for a pest control company that ran on phone calls and paper.

TSM serves a pest control and home-service company. Customers book a treatment — termite control, bed bugs, rodents, cleaning or maintenance — as a one-time visit or a recurring one, with the address, dates and any special requests. Service providers see their assigned jobs on a calendar, travel to the customer, and the customer can follow them on the map, message them and leave a review afterwards.

The brief was one mobile app for both sides — the user chooses Customer or Service Provider at sign-up — and an admin panel for the company to see active, pending and completed jobs, assign technicians, keep customer records and read reports.

The Challenge

The pest control company booked jobs by phone and tracked visits on paper.

Every job started as a phone call and lived in a notebook. Which technician was going where, which treatments were still pending and which customers were due a repeat visit all depended on someone finding the right page — and a customer's history of treatments was whatever the office could remember.

A pest control business makes that harder than most. Treatments repeat on a schedule, one job can run across several dates, and the same customer may book termite control one month and rodent control the next. The system has to handle recurring and one-time work, show it on a calendar both sides read, and keep the visit history attached to the customer.

Our Approach

Every job a record: booked, scheduled, assigned and reviewed in one place.

TSM replaces the phone-and-paper loop with one job record that the customer, the technician and the office all read from.

Booking with the detail a visit needs.

A customer creates a job with a title, description, location, category and project dates, marks it as recurring or one-time, and adds any special requests — so the technician arrives knowing what the visit is for.

One app, two roles.

At sign-up the user chooses Customer or Service Provider. Customers book and follow their jobs; providers see the jobs assigned to them, with a profile, ratings and a portfolio of past work.

A calendar everyone reads.

Jobs appear on a colour-coded monthly calendar and in Nowadays, Upcoming and Previous lists, each with its status, frequency, dates, address and the person assigned.

Tracking, messages and files.

Customers follow the provider's vehicle on the map, message them in the app, and keep files attached to the job — with notifications for new bookings and confirmed payments.

Feedback after every visit.

When a job is done the customer rates it, leaves comments and suggestions and says whether they would recommend the service — and that feedback stays on the job's report.

An admin panel for the office.

The company sees active, pending, assigned and completed jobs, a service schedule by treatment, a calendar and a feed of recent assignments, with reports and user accounts alongside.

Still running service jobs from a phone and a notebook?

Built for Every Platform

One app for customers and technicians, one panel for the office.

The mobile app and the admin panel share one backend, so a job is the same record for the customer who booked it, the technician assigned to it and the office running the schedule.

By making frequency part of the booking. In TSM a customer marks a job as recurring or one-time and sets its dates, and every visit shows up on the shared calendar with its status — so a quarterly treatment is booked once, not phoned in every quarter.

Yes. TSM is one app with two roles: the user chooses Customer or Service Provider at sign-up. Customers book and follow their jobs; providers see the jobs assigned to them, their profile, ratings and portfolio.

From the admin panel. The company sees every active, pending and completed job, the service schedule by treatment and a calendar, and assigns the technician — and the assignment appears in the technician's app and the activity feed.

Yes. Customers follow the provider's vehicle on the map, message them in the app, and rate the visit afterwards with comments, suggestions and whether they would recommend the service.

It depends on how many roles you need, how jobs repeat and what the office side reports on. A mobile app and admin panel like TSM is scoped in phases and quoted fixed-price after a free scoping call.
